OPEN MELEE1:00pm
People leave throughout the day. We've learned that doing an open Melee with pick up rounds is the best way to spend the sunday. Anything too structured and it breaks down. This is a great chance to end your weekend by picking teams and fighting next to people you'd otherwise never fight next to.

Closing Ceremony3:00PM-ISH
Time to head home. It's been a long weekend and many have flights to change, places to go, etc... Feel free to stick around if you like, feel free to leave.

Here's some stuff you need to know.

1. Best airport to FLY INTO:

PDX Portland International Airport. This is about an hour north of the training camp.

2. Best hotel to stay at:

Well, there are several. Last year the prices were about 60 bucks a night for the camp. The most popular option is MCMINNVILLE INN in MCMINNVILLE OREGON. Option two is MCMENAMINS in MCMINNVILLE OREGON. You can also stay in Newberg Oregon, Yamhill Oregon or Carlton Oregon. Many people have rented AirBnB's in the Carlton area as it is less than 5 minutes from the training facility.

McMinnville Inn
Address: 381 OR-99W, McMinnville, OR 97128
Phone: (503) 472-5187

McMenamins Inn in McMinnville
Address: 310 NE Evans St, McMinnville, OR 97128
Phone: (503) 472-8427

3. Can I camp on site?

YES you can. Just understand it's january in northern Oregon. Be prepared for the cold. Most of Daniels spare rooms and his RV tend to be booked up by people so... You're welcome to pitch a tent in the barn if you want to.

Coolio... Super Coolio.

Basically the best thing that has ever happened to American Buhurt.

Bad for Scarecrows

Several scarecrows were harmed in a Halloween version of this event. IF you happen to be a scarecrow, I wouldn't attend. You might die.

We Had Our Doubts

And within minutes.... we forgot about our doubts and just enjoyed smacking things and other people with things. Do the run, it's awesome.
